Premier Speedway 2021-22 Race Dates



The Premier Speedway Club has released its proposed 2021-22 Race Calendar, with the Club planning for a return to a full season of racing despite the continued COVID -19 Pandemic situation.

All dates are subject to and dependent on change or lack thereof with regards to restrictions within Victoria.

Competitors, Officials and Race Fans alike are asked to keep an eye on future updates via our website and Social Media platforms.

“Everyone here at Premier Speedway is excited that we now have a full calendar of events locked away for the 2021-22 season”, Premier Speedway General Manager David Mills said.

“We have put this calendar together, sound in the knowledge that certain changes to the COVID landscape may or may not impact on us and we are fully aware that we will need to comply with whatever restrictions are placed upon us should those changes occur. We are however planning for and aiming for a full season of events including all of our traditional Blue-Ribbon events”, he added.

“The support of our Race Night Partners has been nothing short of phenomenal and we look forward to re-connecting with all of our Premier Club partners in the very near future as well. Our Reserved seating options are also currently available for purchase on a seasonal basis, while on-line ticketing will commence for all events later in the year”, Mills concluded.

The proposed calendar will see the season commence on Saturday November 6, 2021. This meeting will feature the Eureka Sprintcar Series and the Opening Night of the Sprintcar Track Premiership along with Modified Production Sedans and V8 Dirt Modifieds.

The Victorian Sprintcar Title as well as the Formula 500 Jack Willsher Cup is then set down for decision at the second meeting of the new season on Saturday November 20.

The third of three meetings as scheduled prior to Christmas is set down for Saturday December 18, 2021, which will be Max’s Race for Sprintcars. Other divisions to showcase their talents will be the Junior Formula 500’s and Late Models as they continue preparations for their Australian Title in 2022.

World Series Sprintcars is back in season 2021-22 and will return to Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool on Saturday January 1, along with the Junior Sedan Neville Pike Cup.

Sunday January 9, will again feature the Open Wheel Mayhem Night featuring the Beasley Family Memorial for Speedcars, Wingless Sprints and Formula 500’s.

The 49th South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, was postponed last January and is now scheduled for the Friday January 21, Saturday January 22 and Sunday January 23, 2022. Super Rods will also be a part of the action on Classic weekend.

The Australian Late Model Championship is currently locked in for Friday February 25 and Saturday February 26, 2022 with a Practice night and Calcutta also scheduled for Thursday February 24.

Saturday March 19, 2022 will see the Eureka Sprintcar Series return to Premier Speedway along with the popular Street Stocks before the 360 Sprintcars, Wingless Sprints and the ever popular Super Rod Cup hit Sungold Stadium on Saturday April 2.

The Easter Sprintcar Trail, Super Rods and the Traditional Easter Fireworks display well then round out the season on Easter Sunday April 17, 2022.

Anyone interested in purchasing a reserved Terrace Seat for the entire 2021-22 season, a Club Membership or a Season Pass is asked to contact the Club directly.
