Parr Motorsports Gf1 Chassis Track Championship On The Line At Easter

The 2011-12 Premier Speedway, Parr Motorsports GF1 Chassis Sprintcar Track Championship is sure to be a closely fought battle with Steven Lines and James McFadden currently locked in a two man war for the overall prize – a superb GF1 Chassis and Panel Kit courtesy of Parr Motorsports.

Following Saturday nights grand final round of the Eureka Garages and Sheds Series which also doubled as the penultimate round of the Track Championship, Steven Lines snow finds himself leading all comers in the race for the GF1 Chassis!

Lines has accrued a total of 390 points, 175 of which are courtesy of his win on Saturday while a further 160 can be attributed to his second placing on January 1 in World Series Sprintcars action.

With Lines now nominated for the prestigious Easter Sprintcar Trail he is well and truly in line to claim back to back track championship honors.

As has been the case all season long James McFadden is also right in the mix when it comes to the Parr Motorsports GF1 Chassis Track Championship.

The driver of the Totally Workwear NQ25 car sits just 20 points adrift of Lines and like Lines has already nominated for the Easter Sprintcar Trail.

With 175 points up for grabs for the winner of the A Feature on Easter Sunday night, McFadden can certainly still claim the GF1 Chassis!

Also mathematical possibilities of stealing the thunder of both Lines and McFadden are recently crowned Eureka Garages and Sheds Series Champion Darren Mollenoyux and his runner up Jamie Veal.

Mollenoyux has amassed 330 points to be 50 points shy of Lines while Veal sits fourth with a tally of 320 points. Both drivers will need strong performances and a couple of cards to fall their way but Easter is always tough and anything can happen.

For the mathematicians out there Darren Hickman (240 points) and Brett Milburn (220 points) are also outside chances of tasting glory!

The Premier Speedway Club is extremely grateful for the support of Adrian and Kim at Parr Motorsports along with the entire team at GF1 Chassis.

“Parr Motorsports and GF1 Chassis have provided a superb prize and the time is fast approaching where the Premier Speedway Club can pass it onto one very lucky driver”, Mills concluded.

A total 46 drivers have secured points by contesting at least one A-Main so far this season.

The top 10 in the points table looks like this:

Steven Lines (390)
James McFadden (370)
Darren Mollenoyux (330)
Jamie Veal (320)
Darren Hickman (240)
Brett Milburn (220)
Brooke Tatnell (220)
Garry Brazier (195)
Daniel Pestka (190)
Ian Loudoun (175)

The final of the Parr Motorsports GF1 Chassis Sprintcar Track Championship at Premier Speedway will be held on Sunday April 8, 2012 as a part of the Easter Sprintcar Trail.

End Release.
